There’s nothing like a cool, late fall day. It’s too cold to go without a coat, but still warm enough for there to not be snow or dirty slush. Thanksgiving weekend was no exception. I recently got the opportunity to … Continue reading →
Pittsburghers love their fireworks. Every year on the 4th of July, various Pittsburgh Pirates games, Light Up Night and First Night, the City of Pittsburgh puts on a fireworks show. People come in from outside of the city to watch … Continue reading →
On September 18, 2015, they unified their love in front of their friends and family at the Morning Glory Inn in Pittsburgh’s South Side neighborhood. It was a wonderful day for all involved, but especially for Ryan, Ashley, their son Peyton and daughter Avery, because they officially became a family!
Thank you to Ryan and Ashley for giving me the opportunity to take part in your special day! I had a blast photographing you all!
Today, everyone in the United States of America can legally marry the person they love.
I never had a doubt that this day would eventually come, but now it has and it is here!
When I photograph a wedding or an engagement, I get really excited about it. I think I feed off of the loving energy from the couple that I am photographing and it helps me to really capture the moment. So you see, the beautiful photos you see from me are part of a collaborative effort. YOU bring the love and YOU project that emotion out when you’re really feeling it — and I’m capturing it in my own creative way. I’m capturing love.
It’s a beautiful thing, really.
I can’t wait to be excited on that magnitude again.
Getting married? Let’s talk. I’m available for weddings, engagements and everything in between. ❤
In December, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with a college classmate of mine, Margie Netzel, who happens to be the Copywriter/Community Manager for ThingsRemembered.com. She introduced me to an amazing couple, Jeff and Shane, who has recently gotten engaged. They wanted photos to mark the occasion, so we traveled to Mt. Washington and the Duquesne Incline for some unique engagement shoot ideas and shots. This engagement was extra unique, as it was the first time for me that it featured beautiful earrings, rather than a standard ring.
I have been holding off on posting the end results of the shoot until the blog was on the site, but let me say: we had a LOT of fun that day! I will be posting my own shots within the coming days, so be on the lookout!
I LOVE when I get to photograph children for their annual holiday photos. I recently got the opportunity to photograph these lovely ladies, who happen to be cousins! You may recognize Lydia from previous posts; the new little lady … Continue reading →
Hello all! I’ve been lying kind of low for a while — just relaxing, taking in a few concerts and films and spending time with friends. I do have a wedding coming up on Halloween, and I’m really excited about it — also I will more than likely be at Pugtoberfest 2014 in Kunkle Park in Apollo, PA on October 11th. Pumpkin patch season is gearing up, so if anyone is interested in some fall-themed/pumpkin themed photos — please let me know! I am typically always available on a Sunday, and every Saturday after 3pm (some are all day, though — just ask!)
With some planning, we can meet up at a Pittsburgh-area pumpkin patch and I can photograph your children and/or family. Looking for fall themed engagement photos? I can do that, too! Mini family sessions will start at $100.00 and will include travel time, and an archival DVD with 20-25 images on it with full copyrights. Engagement sessions will start at $300.00 (either a la carte or be considered your deposit if you so choose to book a wedding with me – open dates for 2015!) and that covers travel time, and archival DVD with 35-50 images on it with full copyrights.
It’s also never too early to start planning your Holiday photos, either. I hear Phipps has Santa when it gets closer to the Holidays!
Send me an e-mail today at email@example.com or call me at 724-469-0777. Thanks!
